Crasher Hyrax of the Day: Guido Del Solar was snapping photos of his graphic design firm colleagues Nadine and Laura on Table Mountain in South Africa, when a rock hyrax suddenly jumped in front of the lens.
Says Guido: “I thought it would keep in running past but it stopped and looked at the camera.”
The little guy was clearly having a good hair day and just wanted to show off.

"I was laying in bed one night and I thought ‘I’ll just quit — to hell with it.’ And another little voice inside me said ‘Don’t quit — save that tiny little ember of spark.’ And never give them that spark because as long as you have that spark, you can start the greatest fire again. "

Zebra, Tanzania
Photography by Giedo van der Zwan
We were taking shots in the southwest of Serengeti, Tanzania. This location is known as Hidden Valley and was full of animals from the great migration.
This pregnant zebra came out of the dust for a second to take a look at me. She was the perfect poser! Her head straight, ears up, legs in line, tail accentuating her curving body while the herd in the background created the perfect stage of dust!
